Welcome to Rockland! While you're here, be sure to visit Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse, one of the most unique and beautifully situated lighthouses in Maine.

Looks can be deceiving! The breakwater is nearly a mile long. Some tips to remember:

• In the summer, do wear sunscreen, a "windproof" hat, and bring water.

• The breakwater consists of large granite blocks and is uneven footing, wear sturdy  comfortable shoes.
